OK so It’s been about 6 months since my last post which was about all the cool stuff I was going to do this year. There is a reason for that. I got a job I know it’s terrible, but I haven’t had time to do any blogging. A lot of stuff has been planned business wise though and I’ve been working covertly on blog related things.

I’m working from a nicer office now with a more convenient green screen so you can expect more green screen related tutorials. Quite likely getting a new computer which means I can make things faster and take on more ambiguous projects and have the technical support not to get bored and give up half way through rendering. I no longer have a job so I have no other way of making money than becoming a free lance video editor (or getting another job, boo).

This is just the first step. Dudeinadrama.com is returning with more tutorials and videos than ever!

Ok so it’s not exactly the start of the new year anymore but it still feels like it is to me ^_^ What do you think of the new theme!? Sexy isn’t it? I’ve still got some updates to make and bits of CSS to edit that I will no doubt come across while people use the site. If you find anything please post me a comment and let me know!

The new services section is designed to promote people paying me money to do stuff. It is that which will keep the rest of the website and the tutorials free! So don’t feel afraid to take a peek and don’t worry the tutorials I choose make and upload will always be free. But now you have the opportunity to ask for tutorials you want making and tapered towards what you want instead of just what I make. Theres a whole load of other stuff I’m willing to do for money up there too, like writing, drawing, videoing and more. I’ll even consider any other ideas you have, just contact me at services@dudeinadrama.com my new email specially for providing services to you guys and gals!

Expect some new videos soon! I may even be deviating from After Effects and aiming more into the “film” or “how to make a film” areas. Keep up to date by subscribing to twitter or my RSS feeds in the sign up box to the right so you don’t miss a post!

Woo! I’ve done it! Hit the 100 subscribers on YouTube mark I feel I should probably do something to mark this momentous occasion so I am announcing a “Commissions” Section to the website that should be up in the next few days. I’ve been asked a couple times to do work for people and I figure it’s time to start offering my services as a movie maker, effects dude.

You might also notice the new “Donations” module on the right side bar. Thats so that if you fancy leaving a tip you can help me keep this website running (and me out of a real job). I want to add the “Buy me a beer” donation plug in but it’s not working so I just set the donation default at £2.50. I think thats what beer costs? I don’t drink much xD

Thanks you guys for being there! Subscribers give me the initial views on my videos so I love you lots, you’re what make me go “wtf 20 views on my video I only just uploaded!?” <3

Hey! I’ve hade over a thousand views on one of my YouTube videos recently! <3 That is so awesome! I can’t wait to get more videos up there when I’ve got some more stuff to show you. No idea how that one got to 1000 and the others are still at 200-300 but YAY That one must be extra special :3

Theme Update

Hey! You might be wondering what happened to the website, well I’ve been updating the theme! The new theme should tie my blog in with the other blogs we have running in our community.
