Got a great idea but don’t know how to take it to the next step? Once you’ve written your script or screen play the next thing you want to do is get our there and start filing it. This isn’t always the best step to take. If you bridge the gap of screen play to shooting with a story board it can save a lot of time and money when your standing there with a camera. Having studied filming techniques at university I am able to understand the nature of telling a story through video.
Pros of storyboarding by Dudeinadrama.com
- Saves time and money on the actual shoot when you know what you need to do
- Save on edit time by getting the right shots before you even pick up a camera
- Storyboards can lead to re touching scripts to remove dialog that does not work
- Storyboards can help visualise scenes, some scenes might not be feasible
- Lighten the load for you (If some one else makes your storyboard)
- Get another opinion on your work

This will obviously be dependant on how long the project is and how many shots are required. Please contact me for more information at services@dudeinadrama.com
