I’ve been working a Sin City style video effects which makes one colour stand out and the rest of teh video black and white. This tutorial shows the technique I found most effective. There’s some simple masking involved and the use of some cool video effects. It’s not hard to follow and it’s very effective, give it a go with one of your videos and see what you can make!
BTW I do all my own stunts as well as effects /flex
In this video I show you how to export or render video in Adobe After Effects CS3, CS4. Its not as easy as it might seem and is unintuitive compared to some video software. Usually you tend to go for File > export but with After Effects you Render the video rather than import it. This is because of the animation and 3D effects that are used in After Effects.
Today I have made a quick tutorial on how to strip audio from a video file using Quicktime Pro. I know most major video editing software will do this for you but some people don’t have that. Everybody has Quicktime, and the upgrade to Quicktime Pro isn’t that expensive, I upgraded because of advice from a lecturer at university who suggested Quicktime Pro as a cut down video editing suit.
Remember, all video on a Mac is based on Quicktime anyway, even if your using Premier Pro it will just be a fancy front end for Quicktime!
